Data Protection and Confidentiality
Due to the nature of financial inclusion support work, Tandem will hold information about the personal or financial situation of Erimus tenants who ask Tandem for advice.
Tandem advisers store client details on a secure, password-protected computer database. Paper records are stored securely, through a combination of restricted access to the Tandem office and lockable storage systems.
The information you share with a Tandem adviser is confidential to the Tandem team. We will not share any of your information with other people, not even Erimus staff, unless you give your permission and there is a good reason for doing this. However, occasionally Tandem may be required to break confidentiality to protect you or someone else from serious harm or death or to prevent a criminal action. More information on this can be found in section 5.1 of the policy below.
