About Tandem
Tandem was set up by Erimus Housing Ltd, in partnership with Five Lamps Organisation, to give advice to tenants and leaseholders who are having money problems.
We are a small and friendly team of advisers who want to work with you to get your finances back on track.
The service we provide is free. We won’t share any of your information with other people, not even Erimus staff, unless you give your permission. See our Data Protection section for more information.
Tandem advisers offer help and support to people who, for example
- Have rent arrears or other debts
- Claim benefits
- Find it difficult to budget, manage money or make informed financial choices
- Have a poor credit rating and can’t get access to mainstream products
- Don’t want, or can’t get a bank account
- Rely on expensive borrowing, for example from doorstep lenders
- Don’t use other financial services, such as home insurance
- Don’t feel confident when dealing with money matters and would like extra help
